This review is from: Full Circle (The Belanger Creek Ranch Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
“Full Circle is the second book in the Belanger Creek Ranch Series and it doesn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the first book The Second Time Around so much that I thought I would give Full Circle a read and just like the first book, I found all of the characters real and endearing and I found myself rooting for them.

I loved the relationship the characters Colt and Frank have developed since the first book. They have a marriage filled with love and devotion to their children and ‘family’, which includes their closest friends. Without giving away too many details, their marriage is tested big time when they suffer a terrible loss – make sure you keep the Kleenex box handy!

The character Shauna Lee was a big surprise! I wasn’t sure if I liked her very much in the first book, but book II lets us in on her background and the personal tragedies she has endured and you learn the reason she is guarding her heart from love and close friendships. Shauna Lee learns the hard way that you can run but you can’t hide from your past forever…

Shauna Lee’s love interest Brad Johnson is another sexy cowboy like Colt, and a real gentleman. Luckily he also has the patience of Job when it comes to Shauna Lee. Will he give up on his wounded little ‘Tweetie Bird’ (his pet name for Shauna Lee) or will love prevail… and, Just like in the first book the author steams up the pages just enough to titillate the reader.
If you are looking for a very sweet story with endearing characters that value family, and stick by one another through thick and thin, Full Circle will not disappoint!

I am looking forward to reading the next book, “The Hand of Fate.”

NOTE: This person notified me that they had posted a review for The Second Time Around, Book One of the Belanger Creek Ranch Series, and when they attempted to post this review on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca they were told they were ineligible, even though the book was a verified purchase at Amazon.ca. I have heard about this happening before–now it has happened to me.

you can run….” (Book Two of the Thompson Family trilogy.)

is a sequel to my first novel, Hearts At Risk.  It is the second book in the Trilogy of theThompson family at Thompson Land and Cattle Company in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Shauna Lee Holt, Colt Thompson’s former fiancée, has taken center stage in

“you can run…..

Shauna Lee Holt is an intelligent, successful, outgoing business woman; a workaholic who owns Swift Current Accounting and Bookkeeping Services in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada.

But her professional persona is not reflected in her personal life which is lonely, closed and sterile.  She has no intimate relationships: no family and no friends.  Life has taught her that intimacy and commitment bring loss and pain: but she still craves companionship and human touch.  She assuages her loneliness with the “company” that she brings home on the weekends; men who live for the moment and want no lingering ties.

Then Brad Johnson comes into Shauna Lee’s life.  He is not like the men she is used to.  He sees beyond the surface.  He wants what she is certain she cannot give him; love and intimacy.

She has secrets; deeply hidden, painful secrets.  She clings desperately to the safety of anonymity: she is afraid to let anyone breach the walls of the facade she has built.  She is living a lie to protect herself.  She can run….

But can she hide?

“you can run…. continues to follow the lives of Colt and Frankie Thompson as their lives intertwine with Brad and Shauna Lee.  Frankie and Colt seem to have everything.  Their family grows; their relationship deepens.  After the birth of their twins and three years of marriage they are still discovering new things about each other; however, during the journey they have to face the fact that even wonderfully happy relationships are sometimes subject to painful adjustments that come with the ebbs and flows of life.

This is a story of second chances and unconditional love; a tale of secrets, lies, tormented lives, rage and murder.

I hope you enjoy following Frankie and Colt’s life and Shauna Lee and Brad’s new story in this sequel to my first novel, Hearts At Risk by Gloria Antypowich, which is available at Amazon.com in both paper back and Kindle format.  Hearts At Risk  is also available at Smashwords in a variety of ebook formats including Kindle and Nook. The ebooks are available for .99.
